10 mistakes we made when choosing and wearing a bra

The bra is indispensable in women's wardrobes, but it's a tricky one: hard to find one with a perfect fit, hard to wash, and often hard to wear with certain types of clothing.

When it comes to shopping, many women make mistakes. Freshpair expert Bobbie Smith lists the most common and explains the right way to do it.

1. Choose a bra by the size of the bulge
   The correct is to choose by the size of the back strap and the straps. The bulge size is not standard, but rather related to the size of the strip.
2. Wear a bra too small
   Many women buy small, tight-fitting bras and find that their breasts look smaller. But the correct would be to buy a larger one, because they value more the actual size of the breasts.
3. Over-tighten the clasp
   A bra usually stretches up to 3 inches over the period of use. Therefore, there are three different bracket sizes to button it. Start by buttoning at the widest and change when the bra is already loose.
4. Make the back strap too high
   This height should never be above the bulge.
5. Choose models with a lot of support rather than comfortable
   A more comfortable bra fits better than those with very thick or hard bulges. Ideally, choose a softer material.
6. Wear the same bra with all kinds of clothes
   It is a common mistake. But different models of blouses or dresses require different models of bras. You must have the right parts.
7. Wear the same bra two days in a row
   Even if you love a bra, you need to let it rest between days. This helps make the elastic fibers firmer. It is also important to wash the piece with ice water.
8. Wash the bras with your own products
   Specific products for washing lingerie are not indicated as they leave the pieces too soft and this is bad because it removes the firmness of the elastic.
9. Wear a bra for a long time
   The life span of a bra is around eight months. After that it is very wide and no longer works as a breast support. One tip is to have between six and seven pieces in the closet and keep taking turns.
10. Buying a non-fitting bra
    Fitting in just a few ways is no use. The piece must have perfect fit.
