3 Homemade Moisturizers Recipes for Feet, Body and Face

Hydration is an essential part of maintaining a youthful and healthy looking skin. The face and body often need to be hydrated according to each person's skin type. However, buying an industrialized moisturizer can be expensive. If you don't want to spend a lot but still don't want to give up soft skin, how about making your own moisturizing lotion?

Whitening Moisturizer

This recipe, besides moisturizing, can help lighten the skin. You will need a tablespoon of Halibut, a tablespoon of Minancora, a vial of Arovit (vitamin A) and a tablespoon of sweet almond oil.

To make the cream, mix all ingredients, stirring gently until a homogeneous substance. Use the mixture at night before bed. During the day, do not dispense with the use of a sunscreen.

Body moisturizer

You will need ¾ cup of sweet almond oil, 200ml of filtered or mineral water, two tablespoons of scraped beeswax (the one used for waxing; make sure it is beeswax since the others are not will have the same effect) and 30 drops of essential oils.

Place the sweet almond oil in a container, along with the beeswax, taking everything to a water bath until the wax melts completely. Then immediately remove the mixture from the heat, letting it cool for about two minutes to prevent the wax from hardening again.

The next step is to beat the water in the blender, gradually adding the mixture of wax and almond oil. Then add the drops of essential oils you have selected and blend until smooth and creamy.

This cream should preferably be kept in the refrigerator and has a shelf life of approximately six months.

Foot moisturizer

This recipe is especially effective when used on dry or cracked feet. You will need 100 g of solid petroleum jelly, a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of propolis extract.

To make the cream, beat the Vaseline until it leaves a pain close to white. Then add one teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of propolis extract, making sure to mix thoroughly.

To apply, reserve half a liter of milk and one liter of mineral or filtered water. Put the water in a kettle and as soon as it boils, remove it from the heat and add the milk. Pour the mixture into a bowl.

You need to soak your feet in the milk and water mixture for about ten minutes before applying Vaseline, honey and propolis cream. After this time, dry your feet thoroughly and spread the cream gently. The moisturizer should be stored in a jar with a lid and ideally repeat the procedure once a day.
