The study conducted by Dr. Andrew Mayes involving 585 women in China, Spain and the United Kingdom identified three factors that contribute to premature skin aging. The women analyzed were aged 45-75 (United Kingdom), 30-70 (Spain) and 25-70 (China).

According to the researcher, it is already known that genetics is 50% responsible for the way a person looks at his age: older or younger than his age. What he found new from the analysis is that one's lifestyle choices influence 33% of one's appearance.

In this sense, smoking, tanning sessions, and not eating fruits, vegetables, and water are the three main triggering habits of premature skin aging by up to 10 years more than the actual age of women.

Therefore, avoid these customs, as still according to research, creams and technology do not fully correct the action of these harmful habits to their beauty.
