5 Reasons That Will Convince You To Have A Minimalist Wardrobe

Having a minimalist wardrobe basically means keeping only the parts you actually use and not storing the ones that were used only once and which you know you won't need again.

Leaving the cabinet with fewer parts will make it more organized. And you don't have to limit yourself to basic clothes. You can have few items, but they are functional and that match well, composing looks of different styles and for different occasions.

Here are five reasons that will make you rethink whether there is even a need for such a full wardrobe!

1. Reduces time to get ready

How much time do you spend looking at your closet full of options? And thinking you have nothing to wear? can be used to sleep a little longer or watch that series you love so much. Knowing exactly what you have saves you time, as there is no indecision, and allows you to do more enjoyable activities.

2. Saves space

Sometimes when you take a piece off, a whole pile of clothes will fall out. This is because the more parts one has, the more the closet becomes full and consequently the more disorganized. Having less clothes, besides saving space, helps the energy of the room to flow better.

3. Increases creativity

When there are fewer options, you need to be more creative and make new combinations, focusing on items that are wildcards that can be used in other ways or with other pieces to complement.

4. You enjoy life more

With fewer choices to make, you will naturally be less stressed and therefore more satisfied with the decisions you make about what to wear. Successful people, like Hillary Clinton and Mark Zuckerberg, make sure that having fewer clothes and wildcards is a great idea. This makes it easier to relax and have a less tiring and lighter life.

5. You save (a lot) money

If you're not buying clothes, will you save money (at least that's the plan) that can be spent on other things you dream about, such as vacations, travel, dinner?

To reduce what you own, start by eliminating parts you never use? or just rarely use it. Leave only those that you would use at least once or twice in a month. Arrange in a way that makes sense to you, either by color or style. And learn everyday to mix and match, creating new looks with what you have.
