5 Tips for Getting Up and Fulfilling Your Daily Duties

A study at Michigan State University showed that our mental health is affected by our constant multitasking and striving to do everything best. However, it is possible to use some tricks to get the job done without stressing so much. Here are some tips for improving your life to become more productive.

  1. Apply the 15 minute rule:
    In 15 minutes you can: make a list, exercise, eat a meal, meditate, call potential customers, and of course have a conversation with someone you love. Instead of trying to do everything at once, divide the tasks into short intervals.
  2. Use self-adhesive errands
    Take one a day and write down three activities you can't help but do. And do them. So you don't have to think about what you need to do the night before bed.
  3. Be responsible
    Share your goals, progress and commitments with someone you trust and take responsibility for it all. Do what you say you will do and keep your word.
  4. Know when you work best
    Know your productivity style. Is it slow in the morning but super attentive at night? Work at your best time.
  5. Take courage
    Even when laziness hits, be brave and get up off the couch, start doing an activity and you will find that after the start it is easier to continue and finish the tasks. This is all for you to accomplish important things in your day.
