The first step in how to make the braid crown is to split the strands of hair into three parts (one on each side). In each of the side strands, make a normal braid and secure with elastic bands.
Then cross one braid back and forth behind the head to form the braid crown. On the sides of each braid, put bobby pins in a way that does not appear and if you prefer, apply a little spray all over the hair.
There are several ways to use the braid crown. Thin, medium or thick, with the most tidy or messy threads, right in the center of the head or slightly behind, normal braided or fish scale style and even matching with buckles, appliques and ribbons.
