If you love decorating and like to create different, custom objects, you need to try this do-it-yourself idea. The suggestion is to create flower pots using things you probably have at home that cost little if you need to buy them.
To make this DIY, you will only need a few pots or cups (glass or acrylic) of the size and diameter of your choice, plus bladders in the colors you prefer and scissors. And of course, flowers to decorate the vases, which can be artificial or natural.
An important detail for success in making this different vase is choosing the right bladder according to the size of the pot or cup you will use. For cups of regular width, which was the option in this tutorial, were used neon bladders, number 10 with 28cm in diameter.
If the size of the bladder does not match the size of the container, you may not be able to cover it with the bladder, as it may tear and / or become "thin", leaving the vessel with a poor quality finish. So don't be afraid, try the bladder in the glass before buying the whole package.
How to make bladder decorated vase step by step
The first step in the process is to cut the bladders just below the tip used to fill them. This is essential to successfully place the bladder in the cup. Another suggestion is to stretch the bladder extensively to lace it before attempting to put it in the cup. Check below how they should be cut.
The second step is the most important: open the bladder mouth wide with your hands and place the bottom of the balloon, the widest part, into the bottom of the pot or cup. Leave the balloon well stretched at the bottom of the pot. Then go up the balloon until you cover at least the mouth of the pot.
It is essential to open the mouth of the bladder well when placing and not to release it while still covering the cup. It should be released only when it has already covered the top of the glass. If you fail on the first try, don't despair. Try again with great patience and dexterity.
That done, the last step is to decorate the vases with the flowers of your choice. In this tutorial, natural flowers were placed in delicate colors, which contrasted and created a unique look for this home decor. See final result below.
