How to eliminate greenish tone of blonde hair

The intensity of greenish coloring in blond hair depends on the fragility of the wires: the more porous the more copper sulphate will penetrate and the greener they will become. Usually, the green color is more visible in the length of the hair, where the hair is most worn, either by chemical or even lack of maintenance and care.

And dyed blond hair is not the only one threatened by it. Natural blonde hair as well as dark hair can also be hit. However, the damage is less evident.

If this happens, the first thing to do is to be calm and not take any hasty action. The problem has a solution, and it may be simpler than you might think.

If the greenish blond stay in the strands, milk should be applied for a few more days. It will all depend on each type of hair and the intensity of the greenish. Other alternatives are to use anti-residue shampoo or a specific shampoo to eliminate green from blond hair.

Never try to correct the color by dyeing your hair back at home, because before you have to do a stripping, technique for removal of coloring pigments and that can only be done in the salon by a professional with enough experience.

Even though there are ways to recover the wires, the best is to prevent. Therefore, to prevent strands from turning greenish, blondes should use a leave-in before the pool bath. The product decreases the contact of wires with water and prevents damage.
