How to use beauty products in the right order

If you have wondered if the order of application of beauty products makes a difference, the answer is yes. To ensure better results with cosmetics, you need to follow a correct sequence. Learn now how they should be used.

Morning routine

For most women, washing their face with water upon waking seems sufficient, but the skin (especially oily) needs extra care. Use a soap suitable for your skin type. Avoid using ordinary soap, which can overdry and remove natural oils from your face.

The first step after washing the skin is to moisturize the eye area. It is very important to use a specific product as the skin in this region is very sensitive and may become irritated. Prefer the most concentrated and antioxidant creams in the formula.

Then it is the turn of the antioxidant serum. Experts recommend this type of product to prevent damage from external aggressors such as sun, wind and pollution.

Then pass a moisturizer with sunscreen. Nowadays, many moisturizers have a good dose of sunscreen in the composition, which facilitates your routine and combines two very important steps in one: moisturize and protect. If you have normal skin, choose a light, non-greasy lotion. If you have oily skin, prefer oil-free or gel versions. Now the skin can receive the makeup.

Night routine

After hours of makeup on your face, wash it gently with water and a soap specific to your skin type. If you have acne, apply a cream with benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid and allow it to dry for 10 minutes.

For blemished skin, it is best to choose a lotion with kojic acid and alpha hydroxy, which inhibits the production of melanin, a substance that increases pigmentation and causes dark spots.

Finally, it is time to moisturize the skin. Before bed, apply a moisturizer suitable for your skin type. While you rest, it acts to make your skin look beautiful the next day.
