Know a simple and inexpensive homemade recipe to stop dark circles

Just one sleepless night is done: the next day, you wake up with lots of deep dark spots under your eyes, revealing to the whole world that you have been sleepless for some reason.

But an inadequate night's sleep is not the only reason these spots appear. Dark circles sufferers know that other factors can also worsen dark circles, such as the use of vasodilator drugs, allergic attacks and even everyday fatigue.

The fact is, whatever the reason, you'll have to use a concealer bucket to disguise these stains, which make us look downcast and even older.

If you suffer from dark circles, this tip is especially for you: it is a cheap, homemade trick that is being adopted by famous dermatologists such as Dr. Barbara Faria Corrêa Gomes, who cares for the skin of singer Kelly Key.

Simple and effective mixing

In her Instagram profile, Dr. Bárbara taught a very simple tip to soften the dark circles that appear in those of the most tired. If this is your case, write down the ingredients and how to do it:

Ingredients

  • Hirudoid ointment or gel
  • Hipoglós

Way of making and applying

At bedtime, use the palm of your hand to mix? A little finger? of Hirudoid and the same measure of Hipoglós. Apply this mixture around the eyes, with circular movements from the inside out, and then lightly tap. Avoid passing products into the eyes as they may cause irritation.

Sleep with the mixture on your face and, in the morning, wash the area thoroughly, performing your entire skin care ritual normally.

Why does this trick work?

According to Dr. Barbara, this blend works because of the anti-hematoma property of Hirudoid and the moisturizing and revitalizing properties of Hipoglós, which can soften the dark appearance of dark circles.

Although it helps to soften the problem, the dermatologist points out that this tip should not be viewed as a definitive treatment for dark circles, as it does not replace a face-to-face assessment with the doctor and the corresponding treatments.

Cosmetic treatments for dark circles

If you have constant dark circles, some cosmetic procedures available are carboxitherapy, peeling, filling and laser.

Carboxitherapy is indicated for patients who have dark circles, fine lines and sagging. This treatment consists of injecting subcutaneous carbon dioxide to increase blood flow and oxygenation of the dark circles region.

Peeling is indicated for patients who have dark circles resulting from excess pigment, especially those that turn a brown color.

Deep dark circles, in turn, can be treated by filling with hyaluronic acid, which flattens the surface of the skin and decreases the transparency of the tissues, smoothing the color.

Lastly, laser treatment is recommended for patients who have highly pigmented dark circles that are not softened with the use of creams. The laser beam acts directly on the excess melanin that accumulates in the region, destroying the pigment molecules.

Before choosing a treatment for dark circles, always consult a dermatologist to evaluate your case in person and indicate the best options for you.
