Meet Phoebe Philo's Plush Shoes for Céline

The fashion world surprises us more and more each day and makes us question the concept of aesthetics of some designers. Who is in the spotlight this time is Céline, who in her last show featured the production of Phoebe Philo, designer of the brand. The designer, who once caused a stir by applying rabbit fur to her shoes, this time comes back with slipper-like shoes, covered with mink fur, treated to look plush, even dyed with colors like yellow and red.

Critics have split between the unusual and the total disaster, since the visual impact is very different from what you usually see. Comfort is the priority in the model, in addition to the status that the raw material adds, although this is questionable, as many sources claim, especially for the price, that it is only common and synthetic plush. Both the base of the shoe and the heel, and in some models even the sole, were covered by the material, both scarpins and sandals that resemble papetes.

For those who think the footwear is just for the catwalk, the news is that they have already arrived on the brand's lookbook and pages of magazines Marie Claire, Vogue and In Style. Each pair will cost between 400 and 600 pounds, which is up to $ 2000.00.
