Meet the women-only machine shop

Tired of being fooled by garage workers, Britain's businesswoman Caroline Lake created the Caroline? S Cars workshop. The difference of your business is that only women work in it. According to the owner, Caroline Lake, people feel more confident in the services provided by women. And the unusual idea also captured the male clientele.

“I know that women have been fooled by many mechanics, who say their cars need very expensive repairs when they really don't. I want to encourage women not to be afraid and to feel safe as they take their cars for repair. The idea that women do not understand cars is very rooted in our society ?, points out Caroline.

The idea came after the owner worked for four years as an unpaid intern for a male boss, until she was able to convince him to be paid for her work. But after hearing numerous complaints from women who had had harrowing experiences in men's workshops, she decided it was time to launch her own business. After all, she said, many women feel "intimidated and worried about the service they are given in these places."

Having started her business with the help of her two friends, Viv and Moranda, the businesswoman had to hire a few men to leverage and handle the workload. But the pink jumpsuit? compulsory store uniform? is always present in all repairs!
