Pregnant babies who exercise are smarter

Exercise during pregnancy is not only good for the pregnant woman. One hour of moderate activity per week can increase your baby's brain development, according to a recent study by the University of Montreal.

The researchers recruited 18 pregnant women in their first trimester and asked half of them to exercise for at least 20 minutes three times a week. Meanwhile, the other half remained sedentary throughout the pregnancy.

After birth, a test was performed to measure babies' ability to discriminate sounds, which are the basis of learning. With this analysis, did you conclude that the children of the women who exercised had a more mature response? thus indicating that they had the most developed brain capacity.
