Research says women don't know when they are fertile

A survey by Monash University in Melbourne showed the results of interviews with 204 women seeking help in getting pregnant at two different local clinics. According to studies, only 13% of women are sure about the accuracy of their fertile period, compared with 68% who believe they have tried to get pregnant at the right time. Several questions were asked, and in one of them, it was also found that 87% of women end up improvising when seeking knowledge about the best periods to get pregnant.

Most women seeking this type of treatment were not so sure how to optimize their chances through intercourse at the right time. According to the doctors who conducted the research, calculating the period correctly avoids some more complex treatments and aids the fertilization process of clinics.

But when is the fertile period? According to experts, it occurs about 14 days before menstruation, when the ovulation period occurs. Further details of the study will be published in June.
