Speckled nail polish is the new nail hit

The speckled glaze, the one stained with quail-like speckles, is thriving, and brands such as Illamasqua and Deborah Lippmann have already joined the hit by casting beautiful colors full of hexagonal and round glitter that guarantee the effect.

Illamasqua's I? Mperfection line features 5 unusual pastel colors: Freekle? beige; Speekle? lilac; Mottle? green; Fragile? blue; Scarce? pink (£ 14.50). Deborah's collection has 3 colors: I? M Not Edible? rose; Polka Dots and Moonbeams? White; Rockin? Robin? turquoise ($ 19 arrives in April).

The secret of the effect lies in the combination of light enamel with dark tinted glitter. To go beyond the color chart, Impala has placed in its Golden Years collection a black polka dot glitter, which gives this effect when used with more than one layer.

The key to mimicking the effect is to pass interleaved glaze and glitter, remembering that the glaze must be slightly transparent to allow the glitter to appear. And for those who like a good mix of nail polish, just add normal hexagonal black glitter to their favorite colors.
