Survey reveals the hardest year of marriage

Before marriage, it is common for friends and family already married to give advice and say that some periods are more difficult. This phase varies for each couple, but it is inevitable that everyone will face some crises.

A story in the Huffington Post quoted a study of 2,000 people that showed that in the first year of marriage everything is just happiness, it is the honeymoon period, and in the second year is when they are dedicated to getting to know each other better. The third year was considered the happiest, which, according to the researchers, is because it is the moment when the couple begins to plan a family.

However, it is also in the third year that the most serious challenges begin. Over time comes tiredness, increased workload and, in some cases, children. For most couples interviewed, the fifth year is the hardest because it brings new challenges.

What the study shows, in general, is something most couples already know: there are ups and downs. There are times when it seems that things are going exactly the way you expected, dreams are going well. And then there are also times when nothing happens as you would like.

Therefore, you can even prepare for the crisis in the fifth year. Or you can simply live, knowing that one of the most beautiful things about fellowship is the certainty that you are not alone to weather the storms of life, is to have someone make you see the good things again. It's not easy. But having someone together gets better.
