7 diseases that hit women more than men

There are some health problems that affect women much more easily than men. Top of the list are autoimmune diseases, which occur when the body's immune system attacks itself. See some diseases? autoimmune or not? that affect women the most:

  10. The problem happens when there is a negative immune reaction to eating gluten, protein found in wheat, barley and rye. In addition to gastrointestinal problems such as weight loss, bloating, stomachache and diarrhea, it can also affect reproductive capacity.


  11. Irritable bowel syndrome
  12. A common disease that affects the large intestine, causing cramps, pain, swelling, diarrhea and constipation consistently for at least three months. The causes are unknown. The symptoms are stronger in the menstrual period.

  13. Sexually Transmitted Diseases
  14. They can happen more in women because the lining of the vagina is more delicate than that of the penis, which makes it easier for bacteria and viruses to enter.
