LCD and LED TV manufacturers are unanimous about the method of cleaning the appliances: the best way to remove dust and light dirt from your television without causing damage is to use only a dry, soft cloth that should be gently wiped over the screen. . Some brands provide a suitable cloth for cleaning with the appliance. For the corners, you can use a cotton swab.

If you come across any dirt that is costing you to leave the screen, do not rub the cloth harder as this may damage the surface and impair the display of images. Among the major TV manufacturers (Samsung, Phillips, Philco, Sony and LG), most recommend not using any type of cleaning product on the screen, especially abrasives. This means you should not even pass the popular white vinegar or wiper.

The exception to the rule is the manufacturer LG: according to the manual of one of its models, you can apply some mild detergent on the cloth to clean the screen. ATTENTION: If you have an LG TV, always check your device's manual before using glass cleaning detergent as instructions may vary by model.
