Manipulated cream or industrialized cream: advantages and disadvantages of each

Healthy, silky and fully hydrated skin. This is what promises revitalizing creams or simply body moisturizers. Of various brands, prices and forms, they can be handled by specialized pharmacies or also industrialized ready-to-go pharmacies. But what is the difference between each one anyway?

According to dermatologist Mariana Coelho, today the cosmetic market has evolved in such a way that the industrialized products compete with each other for the great effectiveness they provide. "Depending on the type of case of my patient, I indicate the factory ready, because they had a great increase in quality, which makes it as effective as the manipulated," comments.

Manipulated Creams

For the dermatologist, the manipulated creams They are indicated for patients who need certain or specific components in the treatment formulation.

? We can treat two or more situations with those produced in handling pharmacies, because it is possible to add components that treat for example, blemishes and skin aging in a single drug ,? explains Mariana.

In addition to allowing the dermatologist to specify exactly the asset that the drug should have, the manipulated are economically more viable, which does not necessarily reduce excellence in treatment.

"They are cheaper than the industrialized ones, but if done according to professional guidelines and in a reliable pharmacy, the results are as good as those bought in cosmetics stores," comments the dermatologist.

Depending on the case, it is the manipulated ones that will perform the skin treatment best. "To know which is the best cream option, you need to ask the professional for guidance that can analyze which type of drug is appropriate for the case," recommends Mariana.

However, because they are produced with different components, skin allergies may occur. "They may cause some kind of allergic reaction in the patient, so the need for guidance and medical prescriptions," explains the dermatologist.

Industrialized Creams

The industrialized creams they are intended exactly for the patient problem detected by the dermatologist. ? Made in industries also offer good result. As it was tested in laboratories, it is known what side effects may appear ?, comments the dermatologist.

Because they are tested before going to store shelves, they do not vary the quality standard. "The penetration of the products are very effective due to testing in the laboratories", explains Mariana Coelho.

However, as the components are already prefabricated to treat the exact problem, there is no possibility for the doctor to combine more actives for other treatments.
