How to make a practical and inexpensive brush holder

Every woman who is addicted to makeup knows that it is not easy to keep brushes always well organized, kept in place and clean. Often, in a hurry to get ready, we end up leaving the brushes scattered in the makeup case or even on the dressing table or somewhere in the bathroom.

However, keeping them that way shortens the life of the brush, as well as facilitating disasters such as falls and breaks and promoting the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.

But how to organize them in a practical and easy way, without having to invest in a gigantic makeup case? It's simple, with some materials and a little whim, you can make your own brush holder at home.

Here are the materials you will need: 1 pot of the size you prefer, 1 bag of coarse salt, hot glue, a satin or lace ribbon, a ready-made satin bow and scissors.

These items you can find in grocery stores and stores for supplies and accessories.

Brush holder step by step

First, wrap the satin or lace ribbon around the pot and glue it with the hot glue. Remember that very little hot glue is needed so you avoid it from becoming apparent and leaving the finish flawless.

This done, glue, also using the hot glue, a bow in the part of the tape you want. Choose a bow of a color that matches the ribbon you used. If you prefer, you can skip this step and decorate with the ribbon only.

The last step is to put the coarse salt in the pot until it allows the brushes to stand in the pot.

This is the end result of the brush holder already decorated and ready to use. If you have many brushes you can make more than one, or opt for a larger pot. If you have a few, a small pot or even a glass will do.

Be sure to share these tips with your friends so they too can keep makeup brushes well organized.
