Research says kiwi can be a great ally in tanning

St. Andrews University in Scotland brings good news to anyone who likes a beautiful tan but is afraid of the damage that excessive sun exposure can do to the skin.

According to studies at the university, those who eat fruits and vegetables, and especially kiwi, can tan more easily, healthily and maintain color longer. The difference can be noticed after 6 weeks of eating these foods and the skin becomes highlighted in red and yellow pigmentation, which gives the appearance of bronze without the need for excessive exposure to the sun, especially if this exposure is at inappropriate times, when the rays are very strong and can be harmful to health.

Another important point that the research reveals is that of the people analyzed, those who consumed 3 servings of the recommended foods daily appeared to be more attractive, both for the color of the skin and the benefits that the diet brings to the skin, health and mood.

It is worth rethinking eating habits and investing in healthy meals and for those who like to always be the color of summer, it is also worth adding more fruits and vegetables to the diet.
