The risks of home tanning

Summer is coming and many women are already preparing. And stick with tanned skin That's what most of them want this season. But unfortunately, some women abuse their homemade suntan recipes with the most diverse ingredients.

Cooking oil, aviation oil, annatto, sweet almond and fig leaf are some of the products used that can harm the skin. Instead of beautiful, tanned skin, the use of home tanners may result in blemishes and burns that may vary from superficial to deep.

In addition, homemade suntan lotions can cause irreversible damage and even skin cancer.

As they are not specifically designed for the skin, not even the color of tan acquired through the use of these recipes is lasting. The skin turns red and begins to peel in a few days and still looks dry.

But these are not the only problems with using homemade suntan lotions. Excessive sun without adequate protection can also cause pain, diarrhea and dehydration. So if you want to look amazing in summer, the key is to stay away from home tanning techniques, take your time and always be protected.

Soak up the sun little by little, avoiding the time between 10am and 4pm and don't forget to use the sunscreen, preferably with a protection factor between 15 and 30.
