10 phrases you should never say to those trying to lose weight

Carrying out a diet is time consuming and requires a lot of willpower. But when there is support and encouragement from friends and family, everything can become easier. There are even some people who turn to the internet, posting photos or reports of the weight loss process, and getting lots of motivating messages from strangers.

But that is not always what happens. Whether in the virtual environment or in everyday life, people often say things that end up discouraging weight loss, even if they are said with the best intentions. Here's a list of what should never be said to anyone on a diet:

  • • You should stop eating carbs.
  • "You won't eat this, will you?"
  • ? Your metabolism should be slower ??
  • "I'm overweight, but I don't look that big."
  • "Just eat a little piece of the pie, it won't make a difference."
  • Are you doing physical activities?
  • "I prepared that lasagna you love!"
  • "My friend has been on a great diet, can I give you."
  • Just two pounds? I thought you lost more.?
  • "I brought chocolates to make you happier."
