5 things we can learn from children

As we get older, we begin to acquire experiences and knowledge that we had not even imagined in childhood. We learn to deal with people different from ourselves, discover various flaws and qualities in ourselves, take responsibility, choose the paths we want to go.

This baggage is necessary to meet the many challenges of adulthood, but it can also keep us from remembering and using some well-developed skills in children that are still important after we get older.

1. Don't complicate simple things

A child understands the world around him as simply as possible. To her, is every thing what it is? and there are no messages between the lines or even hidden senses. When she hears an order or a loving phrase, she immediately decodes it and understands what she means. When we become adults, however, we communicate completely differently.

We carry our orders and even our loving phrases with elements such as irony, double meaning and hidden meanings, for example, that end up complicating what should be simple. The same goes for everything. Want something? Piece. Didn't like a situation? Chat Do you love someone? Say it. Children handle these things much better than we adults do.

2. Dream big? without fear of falling

As children, we dare to dream without fear of the difficulties and challenges that involve achieving what we desire. For some reason, throughout our lives, we give up our greatest dreams to accept only the reality that is easy for us. So children who wanted to fly airplanes eventually become stewards, those who dreamed of being famous take a public contest in the name of more tangible professional stability and so on. Make a commitment to the child you were, one day, and keep dreaming big all your life? and seeking to fulfill the desires you had. It's never too late to start acting like this.

3. Try to see the magic of little things

The ability to be enchanted by the small details is crucial for those who want to survive in a world that is becoming increasingly practical. Do planes in the sky, flowers that open, and other small everyday things cease to amaze us? but they should not. It is these details that make life more beautiful, and that is why children seem happier than us.

4. Be sure to do something because you consider yourself unable

Children are not limited. They do not give up on a task before trying to do it because they do not consider it capable. As adults, we seemingly lose this courage and invincibility, but we must regain it if we are to fight for what we believe. If we start doing a task that is already discredited to our potential, there is a much better chance that it will actually go wrong.

5. Never stop using your imagination

Children have fantasy as an ally in everyday life. After we grow up, do we tend to over-rationalize everything? And this is not good. Keeping an open mind to the wonders of the imagination helps improve creativity and also lessens the stress caused by everyday problems. To re-exercise your imagination, read a lot, look for contact with art? like painting and sculpture - do you do any stimulating tasks? write or draw, for example? and try to let your brain wander about seemingly meaningless things from time to time.
