Enjoy Easter without neuras

Chocolate is one of the most consumed delicacies in the world, with so many shapes, aromas and components, there is no way not to taste this well-known sweet.

Chocolate is a food made from fermented and roasted cocoa almond. Its origin dates back to the pre-Columbian civilizations of Central America. From the Discoveries, it was taken to Europe, where it became popular, especially from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Later chocolate was associated with certain festivities, such as Easter. Moreover, with scientific discoveries, some properties have been known that relate it, especially in the bitter version, to human health.

In this way beyond the flavors, we see that it can be beneficial to humans as long as consumed in moderation. Easter brings out chocolate, eggs of various sizes and colors that sharpen our desire, but it is also a time of suffering for many people who are overweight or trying to stay thin during this time.

A large part of the population associates the Easter period with excess chocolate, failing to give up even as adults to consume the beautiful Easter eggs or even share when they earn them in excess.

We know that chocolate contributes a lot to our good mood because it contains specific substances that brings people the feeling of well being and happiness. We can also remember that more depressed people are more likely to consume chocolate, or even during PMS.

The big question is not to stop eating what you like, but to be able to eat a little of what you like, for example a candy, or small pieces of chocolate, but never a whole. This is what we call satisfaction, and eating the whole box or the whole egg is compulsion.

The key is to be aware of why you are eating, if you are hungry, if you are just accompanying someone, or why you are discounting emotions in chocolate, and always wondering why you are eating.

However, all is not lost, we only need to organize and discipline ourselves so as not to overeat during this period.

Important Tips

  • Divide the chocolates and eggs earned in your work environment so you don't risk stuffing yourself unnecessarily.
  • Those who do not have self-control can ask someone in the family to store it in another place that is not visible, so it can be gradually consumed.
  • Give preference to milk or black chocolates, because whites are more caloric.
  • If you choose to buy an egg, buy a small one. Do not allow yourself to have a large amount of chocolate in your home.
  • If you win more than one egg, give it to a child who has no chance of winning, because he or she is unable to earn from their parents or even an orphanage.
  • Enjoy to enjoy the family, hug, kiss, talk a lot, because to be happy is to exchange affection.
  • Try to be happy without using food to occupy this place, because it is good to eat yes, but even better, is to be well and with yourself!

Following these tips, you can spend your Easter quietly and happily, savoring your chocolate, because do not forget, Easter passes, but the fat are.
