How to keep the house in order

To keep the house in order, it is important to keep everything in its proper place. When there is no specific place for certain objects, they end up scattered around the house and then the rooms saw that mess.

Having a place to store each type of belongings makes it easy to leave the house in order. Whenever you use an object, immediately put it back in its place. If you and your family have this organizational discipline, the house will be tidied up longer. Check out some tips on how to keep the house in order by taking care of each room:

House entrance hall

Usually when we get home, we want to get rid of the weights we are carrying and end up dumping everything at the entrance of the house. But this is the easiest way to make it look like the whole house is messy.

Ideally, you should have a cupboard or drawer with drawers, so you can store keys and correspondence neatly, preventing them from being exposed on benches and tables. Some families also choose to leave their own space to put their shoes in the hall so that they are organized rather than thrown on the floor of the house.

Kitchen

Leave the kitchen always tidy starting with the dishes. Try to keep up with the washing of utensils and store them all as soon as they are dry. If at kitchen counters you often leave a lot of objects on display, try to find a space for them in a cupboard or in organizer boxes. The space on top of the fridge and microwave can be used as long as it is careful, avoiding putting too much weight on the appliance and without exaggerating the number of items on top of the fridge.

Generally exposed objects give a greater impression that the house is messy even when they are organized, so avoid leaving too many objects on display in the kitchen. Food that is left out of the refrigerator should be placed in jars to be tidier and kept hygienically.

bedrooms

The rule for the rooms is similar to that of the kitchen: keep belongings in closets out of people's sight. But of course it is also important to keep the cabinets organized. Leaving the bed neat and clothes in place is the first step to getting your room in order. Avoid leaving dirty clothes and shoes on the floor, have a proper place for these objects.

Clothes that are worn only in the winter or that are little worn can be stored in boxes and the same should be done with less frequently used objects, so you get more space in the closets and wardrobes to be able to pack your belongings.

Living room

The room also needs to be free of scattered objects. Try to keep only what is needed in the room, such as magazines and the remote control. Even these objects can have a specific place to be organized, such as coffee table drawers. If you have many magazines, try organizing them in drawers or boxes or donate a portion of them.

Some common household items such as cell phone chargers, extra house keys, equipment manuals, phone book, among others, can be stored in a closet.

Office

As offices or study areas often have larger volumes of paper and multiple books and notebooks, it is essential to have a locker to organize these items. Plus, you can count on tabbed folders and elasticated folders for storing and sorting documents and other important papers.

Always keep the most used and necessary objects in easily accessible places and in the front of the cabinets. Less commonly used items may be deeper and into the top and bottom of cabinets.

WC

In the bathroom it is important to use closet space to store toiletries and towels, for example. Have some hooks for hanging used towels neatly and a used laundry basket so they don't get scattered on the floor. Avoid leaving a brush or toothpaste in the sink, as it is unhygienic and is a way to make the bathroom messy.

Pantry

Separate your food cleaners if you store both in the pantry. Escape the rubble and get rid of objects you no longer use. Stacking old boxes in the pantry takes up space and can attract moths and mites. Try to keep pantry objects organized in sturdy cabinets, shelves, or boxes that can be on the floor, in corners, or under cabinets.
