IBOPE confirms the increase of makeup use among Brazilians

Vanity seems to be in the blood of Brazilian women, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a woman without any cosmetics today. The new IBOPE research comes to further affirm the situation. According to the study, much more has been spent on makeup and the biggest contributor to the increase is class C with a 17% increase over the last survey, from 61 to 78%.

The data were obtained by Target Group Index, a division of IBOPE Media, with comparisons from 2003 to date, showing that 84% of AB-class women today use cosmetics, compared to 69% only nine years ago. Following closely the increase in consumption of class C, classes AB come with 15% (from 69 to 84%) and DE with 11% increase (from 52 to 63%), very significant results.

IBOPE research was conducted between the metropolitan regions of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Brasilia and the interior of São Paulo and the south and southeast regions, with people from both between the ages of 12 and 75, and it definitely shows that women are increasingly concerned about their appearance. For data collection, approximately 71 million people were asked by researchers about the issue.

And you, leave home without makeup?
