Viral triple or MMR prevents against mumps, rubella and measles, and is applied at 12 months of age. "The booster of this vaccine should occur between 4 and 6 years," says the pediatrician.

The smallpox vaccine, better known as chicken pox, should also be applied to small children. The booster happens at 4 and 6 years old.

The pediatrician also comments "that the adolescent should be vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, as well as the adults who should receive the boosters, because it is extremely important to have a complete booklet". And he adds that "vaccination prevents a huge number of diseases that can lead to death or leave serious sequelae."
