Why do women live longer than men?

Unsurprisingly, women tend to live longer than men, but why does this happen? Japanese scientists went after the answer and found that the immune system is responsible for this. According to surveys and examinations of people between the ages of 20 and 90, the men's system ages faster than that of women.

The 365-person analysis found that women remain immunologically more resistant longer and are better able to fight off disease and infection. However, more research still needs to be done to confirm whether gender actually has to do with living longer than each person's living conditions.
