Basic waterfall braid

Separate a lock on the side of the head (whichever side is most comfortable for you). Divide it into three parts.

Start the braid by passing the parts over one another. When making the first braid, leave the middle strand separate. Select another strand from the side of the head and braid again, separating the strand from the middle again. Remember that the braid must pass in order to hold the loose strand.

Follow these steps the entire length, so that the braid will follow toward the other side of the head until it reaches the desired length. In the end, make a traditional braid and fasten it.

Cascade braid tied

In this case the braid will be different. Separate the three side locks as in the traditional version. But instead of following the traditional pattern, you will make a kind of slightly loose knot, also holding the middle strand after the braid.
