Social networking site Plenty Of Fish analyzed profile data for 81,000 users and 1.8 million messages among American straight people aged 25-35 to find out the factors that make singles more or less likely to receive messages from unknown on the network. Check out the curious facts discovered:
- Women ages 25-26 receive 14.4% more messages. And 33 is the age that receives the fewest messages, according to the Plenty of Fish.
- Catholic women receive 20% more messages. About a quarter of the American population identifies themselves as Catholic, and we are still living in a time when many people choose their partners based on religion.
- Those who mark the option? Prefer not to say? whether they want children or not receive 21% fewer messages.
- Women who do not drink receive 24% fewer messages. Those who say they drink socially are still on the positive percentage side, but those who refuse to respond move to the negative side.
- Women who describe themselves as thin receive 41% more messages than the average user.
