Practicality is one of the main reasons for buying a dishwasher. Besides the advantage of better cleaning than any manual washing and better dishwashing, saving time in this task is a major draw of the machine.
There are no secrets about using the dishwasher. Generally the procedures are quite simple and can be easily understood by following the instructions in the manufacturer's manual. But there are some tips that can make their use more efficient, now know what they are.
1 ? Clean debris, but do not wash the dishes before placing in the washer. Dishwasher detergents are made with specific ingredients to remove all food particles. If the dishes are rinsed earlier, the product loses its action and the washer still wastes water while doing the normal cleaning process. So just scrape the leftover food instead of rinsing.
2 ? Use the lightest wash cycle possible. Remember to readjust the washer to the light wash control after using it in the heavy wash program to handle the dinnerware of many dishes, pots and pans. It is a way to save water and electricity.
3 ? Only use the washer at full capacity. Getting it to work almost empty is a waste of water and electricity. However, some newer models already have a special function for smaller loads, check this option before you buy.
4 ? Set the dishes correctly in the washer and do not exceed the load limit. Do not put knife points or sharp objects up and mix the cutlery, this will prevent them from grouping together. Also do not place cups or plates too close, as water runs at high speed during washing and the result may be cracked or broken.
5 ? Prevent pans and other larger items from blocking water from reaching the dishes. If the dishes are covered, the soap and water may not reach them and they will remain dirty.
6 ? Too much soap can scratch glass cups and utensils, so do not overdo the detergent. Do not use regular dishwashing detergent, it makes a lot of foam and can flood the machine. Prefer to use specific detergents and tablets, which clean more effectively.
