How to prepare a relaxing bath

Make daily bathing a ritual, a moment of your own to disconnect from the rest of the world and regain energy. A relaxing bath can leave stress and tiredness behind and bring down all the stress of the daily rush.

If you don't have a bathtub at home, that's fine. In the shower or bathtub, the bath can be even more relaxing if you set the mood. It is worth investing in candles, special sponges and enhancing it with some ingredients like salts, oils and soaps, which can work miracles for your well-being and beauty.

Start preparing your relaxing bath by making the bathroom environment more cozy. Use scented candles to create a harmonious mood. Candles with citrus fragrances are stimulating, fennel candles calm and woody fragrances lower the tension.

Use liquid or bar soap, but always choose the ones that have properties that are good for your skin type.

Homemade soaps are a great option as they are usually made with glycerine, essences and natural oils, which make the skin much softer than ordinary soaps. Another good tip is effervescent salts, which cause an energizing sensation in the body.

Massaging the skin while showering is great for giving more energy and disposition. It activates circulation and removes dead cells from the body. Use natural sponges and bushings to make smooth, circular motions, always from the bottom up.

In a container with hot water, put a few drops of aromatic oil and spread the essence throughout the body after bathing. Let the body dry naturally. In the bathtub, put a few drops of oil and soak for ten minutes. Bath oils leave the skin soft and hydrated. The oils with the essence of rose, chamomile, lavender, orange blossom, camphor and seaweed are refreshing.
