Model loses face movements after 300 plastic surgeries

The shocking life story of former model Alicia Douvall serves as a wake-up call for all women considering appealing to surgery for perfection.

She started the? Journey? At the age of 17, when she has had her first and nowadays with more than 300 procedures all over her body, she seeks to recover facial movements, lost due to implants that went wrong and left her with compromised muscles. In an interview with The Sun she says she cannot smile at her one-year-old daughter, nor at her 17-year-old daughter, for whom she tries more than anything to set a good example.

Still in the interview, she tells about how the cosmetic surgery industry works, and says no doctor has ever warned her of problems and complications. After her toe size surgery, she has lost her balance and claims to stumble frequently, a factor that was never announced before the surgical raid.

The warning she brings is still due to the beauty standards, which mainly children and adolescents are subjected to. According to Alicia, she would come to the doctor's office with a Barbie in her hands and say, "I want it," in search of supposed perfection. She recently underwent a new procedure for the removal of all grafts and facial modifications and works to combat addiction for cosmetic surgery and the damage it can cause.
