Woman creates great poster to stop traffic curse

?Go wash the dishes! Come home, Dona Maria !? What woman has never heard such a curse in traffic, usually from a hurry who doesn't care to respect the speed limit?

Even if women are involved in fewer car accidents than men, traffic is still a hostile environment for us, especially when we have just taken our driver's license.

After all, when we are more experienced, it is easy to overcome such nonsense as letting the engine die, but this is a real nightmare for those who just got out of high school and fears staying a long time trying to get uphill.

This situation was no different for Debora Corrêa, a resident of Curitiba, Paraná, who felt so insecure to take the car that ended up riding only by bus or Uber. That was until the day she took the courage to drive out on the streets with a little help from a sensational poster.

I am newly qualified. I appreciate the patience !?

Deborah, 32, had tried to get her driver's license 10 years ago, but gave up halfway. In July last year, however, she managed to pass the test, but avoided taking the car out of fear of how other drivers would react to her "prudent new driving" form.

To avoid honking and cursing if the car's engine died or it took too long to cross a preferred one, Debora ended up moving only from Uber or bus. “One day when I got home and saw the car parked, I couldn't believe I was riding a bus in that heat with the car parked and at my disposal. Was that when I decided that I would pick up my son from school at the end of the day by car?

And that was when Deborah came up with the ingenious idea of making a sign with a warning to the other drivers: “I am newly qualified. Thank you for your patience !? said the message stuck behind her car.

With the car properly signaled, Deborah picked up her son from the school, which is 5 km from his home. On the way, the first obstacle was a very steep street that caused the car's engine to die. The car behind me passed, lowered the window and gave a thumbs up. There I felt that my poster had worked ?, said Deborah.

According to the novice driver, some people honked and made encouraging gestures and two ladies even opened the window to say supportive words. It was awesome!

Inspiration that came from Japan and spread here

Deborah said the inspiration for the poster came from Japan, where, by law, novice drivers need to use a magnetic sign identifying them as inexperienced. "That would be very useful here, as people often walk in a hurry and get stressed out in traffic," she said.

Does the brave driver still say she received a series of messages from women who thanked her for the inspiration? after all, this insecurity is quite common among the newly empowered.

“We live in such a macho world, and it ends up making women insecure in traffic. Several are coming to tell me that they are also afraid and I am happy to be able to inspire them. Now I intend to take the car whenever I have the opportunity; my husband will just be watching ?, concludes Deborah, celebrating the success of her initiative.
