Yellow Enamel Mix

You have already seen here in Tips that Chanel decided to invest once again in striking color nail polish to launch fashion around the world. And as Mimosa nail polish should take a while to get here, one option is to invest in national versions of hopscotch. Some of our suggestions:

Although beautiful, some are lighter, others more intense, with a bit of pearlescent effect or just a shiny cover. So, to get to the Chanel Mimosa effect, which can be defined as a soft yellow with a slightly pearly touch, we decided to try a little mix.

We chose Colorama's Yellow Pop Art as a base and to give it the pearly touch, we mixed Cajá Manga da Impala.

I confess it was one of the most complicated mixes. I already did and it took a lot of patience to apply, remove excess and clean the corners.

Colorama's Pop Art is part of the Single Layer line. Even so, I like to go twice for perfect coverage and without those brush marks. As Cajá Manga is thinner, one layer was enough.
