Yoga for pregnant women

During pregnancy, the mother's future body undergoes constant changes. In addition to dealing with new feelings and discoveries, the pregnant woman still needs to adapt and learn to deal with this new body, even if temporary.

By practicing yoga during pregnancy, a woman can enjoy all the benefits of physical activity and can progressively adjust to her new body. Prenatal yoga or yoga for pregnant women improves the mother's mood, eases physical discomfort, stimulates the creation of the mother-baby bond over the nine months and also benefits postpartum recovery.

During classes, yoga for pregnant women works with posture, breathing, relaxation and meditation, which are elements of traditional yoga, but adapted to meet the needs of pregnancy.

In addition to helping to reduce stress and teaching you to relax, yoga for pregnant women helps women develop strength, flexibility and stamina. The activity prepares the pregnant woman physically giving the necessary physical conditioning for the time of delivery, but also prepares her mentally and emotionally.
