10 rules to keep the tag in line

The large movement in banks, shops, parking lots, restaurants and in general commerce gives rise to a problem that bothers many people: the queues. And if you can't escape them, the tip is to follow some rules of etiquette that can help make waiting less unpleasant.

  1. Speak low on the phone. No one is required to hear your conversations.
  2. Use a headset to listen to your favorite songs. This helps to distract and gives the impression that time goes by faster.
  3. Give the turn to seniors, pregnant women and people with special needs, even if you are not in the preferred care queue.
  4. Keep an arm's length away from the person in front of you, so you help avoid bumps, elbows, and everyone becoming more comfortable.
  5. If you need to complain, look for someone who can effectively solve the problem. Grumbling or complaining to other people in line doesn't change anything and still makes others angry.
  6. When crossing a line, excuse yourself, wait for the person to make room, pass the thanks.
  7. Be sure to apologize if you accidentally push, trip, or hit someone's purse. Education is always welcome.
  8. If you are in the mood for conversation, try to start a conversation with those close to you, but always with sympathy and without forcing. If you notice that the person does not want to chat, do not insist.
  9. Sometimes, such as movie theaters and theaters, you can avoid the queue by buying tickets in advance.
  10. And the main thing: never line up. It doesn't matter if you are in a hurry or if your case is urgent. You do not know the situation of the other people who are there. Even if there are friends located ahead, nothing to join them.
