Chanel Presents Makeup Collection Inspired by Old Photographs

Chanel's new collection arrives for spring 2013/2014. With colors like nude, brown, plum, pink and red, bringing references in old photos, Peter Phillips (Creative Makeup Director of maison), shows a feminine and elegant collection, the brand's face.

The line features a Chanel-signature powder that bears the brand's emblem, camellias and lipsticks on the satin finish surface, in a light pinkish nude tone that blends in nicely with the skin ($ 68.00) ). Already for the eyes, a waterproof pencil, in three colors that keeps the tones of the proposed card for the collection ($ 29.00), and a quartet of plum shimmering shadows, two shades of brown and beige, with high pigmentation (U $ 59,00).

Lips get special attention with two types of lipsticks: Rouge Allure, with a glossy finish and 5 colors available ($ 34.00); and Rouge Allure Matte, with matte finish and 2 shades of red ($ 34.00). For finishing, there is Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss, two tone nude, with gloss and long lasting ($ 32.00); and a high precision contour pencil in pink red and plum ($ 29.00).

The nails couldn't be left out, and the brand features three new colors: Emprise, with its matte rosy beige; Accesoire, reddish brown and Weak, a bright pink ($ 27.00 each). To complete the look, the collection features a coral blush ($ 43.00). There is still base with SPF 15 ($ 55.00), and noir color mascara ($ 30.00). All products follow a harmonious and elegant color chart, as well as contrasting to create light and shadow effects.
