How to decorate clothespin with ribbon

Clothespins are useful and indispensable items in any home. We use them to close packages, hang clothes, hang errands among other uses.

The downside of using the fastener is that they do not always look very beautiful and consequently end up not being able to be exposed in a decorative way in the house.

The good news is that you can decorate them with quick and simple steps and turn them into decorative items for your home.

Decorated fasteners have a multitude of use possibilities and can even be used as a souvenir at events such as bridal shower and baby shower.

Below you can check out the step-by-step for decorating clothespins and take the time to put the tips into practice and make these household items even cuter and more useful:

Necessary materials

  • Preachers;
  • Decorative tape in the width of the preacher (approximately 1cm wide - each side of the preacher will need 7.5cm in length - ie each preacher will use approximately 15cm in length of the tape - we suggest leaving more length left to make the process easier and not missing) ribbon);
  • Glue E.V.A. (white? glue fabric and wood);
  • Scissors;
  • Colorless nail polish.

Walkthrough: How to Decorate Preachers

  1. Cut out strips a little more than 8cm long;
  2. Apply the glue to the preacher and glue the strips on both sides, leaving a little of the length left over;
  3. Let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes, until the fabric becomes the preacher;
  4. Cut at the ends the remaining length of each strip;
  5. Apply a thin layer of colorless enamel to the ends so that the tape does not loosen and spoil;
  6. Wait for drying and use your preacher as you wish.

This preacher can also be used with a magnet to nail messages in the refrigerator. Just buy a piece of magnet from the trinket shops and paste on the desired side with hot glue. This way, it can be stuck to the refrigerator as a scrapbook.

Now that you know how to make your clothespins more charming, how about you get your hands dirty and tell us later how it turned out?
