Know the radio frequency

Radiofrequency emerges as an alternative to invasive surgeries and treatments requiring anesthesia, and its objective is to provoke physiological reactions by increasing the surface tissue temperature with the use of an energy applicator by a high frequency electric current.

As long as the surface of the skin remains warm between 40 ° C and 43 ° C, the deeper layers are cooled and collagen contraction occurs, which in turn results in neocollagen production, giving the skin a better appearance. The sensations caused during the application are cold, hot and cold again after that each session can last from a few minutes to an hour.

This technique is painless, does not harm and does not cause skin irritation and can be applied to any skin type and at any time of the year. It can be used alone or in combination for treatment of sagging face or neck skin, periorbital and frontal wrinkles, cellulite, acne sequelae, fibrosis, adhesions and eyebrow lift.

After treatment, the use of sunscreen is recommended and normal activities can be resumed shortly thereafter.

Because it is a gradual treatment, there is a 2-6 month interval required for neocolagen production and results to appear. It is considered that a session already returns good results, but more can be done depending on each case. It is also possible that more sessions will be needed after a few years due to the natural aging of the skin.
