Long Lasting Tan: 6 Tips To Not? Fade? during the year

During the summer there are many resources used to ensure a beautiful, healthy and lasting tan. But time goes by, the other seasons arrive and the skin ends up fading. Maintaining color throughout the year is not easy, but it is possible with some tips. Check out.

  1. Exfoliation
  2. The sun stimulates the production of a pigment called melanin, which gives color to the upper layer of the skin. An exfoliation every two weeks helps renew these cells. And you don't have to use expensive products. At home it is possible to do it, using salt, honey and a pair of gloves to apply on the body.

  3. Nutricosmetics
  4. There are some products on the market that contain beta carotene, lycopene and some oils that help prolong melanin production and sustain tan.

  5. Drink water
  6. When skin becomes dry, it peels off. So keep your hydration up to date by feeding the cells from the inside out.

  7. Soft skin
  8. In addition to water, hydration needs to be done from the outside as well, so a good moisturizer is essential.

  9. Eat well
  10. Some foods help maintain tanned skin such as egg white, cottage cheese, salmon, soy, almonds and avocados. They are all rich in tyrosine, which stimulates melanin production.
