Models are not health references

Health should be a focus in our lives and routine care makes a big difference when it comes to both physical and mental health. Today, fashion is a slim body, preferably like the bodies that run in magazines and billboards in big cities. Beautiful models in P-size clothing invade the lives of many women, leading many to idealize these bodies as synonymous with real beauty.

This is a delicate situation that has been causing a lot of dissatisfaction, as well as being one of the triggers in search of unbalanced diets, self medication, between cases of anorexia, bulimia and binge eating.

These women exposed in the magazines do not lead the same lives that we women live every day. We are real, working mothers, hardworking. We live the reality of going to parties, being able to taste some foods we like and being able to live life in a balanced way.

In every search we make it is important to keep in mind that the balance should guide all our actions. All excesses, all drastic and extremist attitudes are not healthy.

When looking for dietary reeducation, physical exercise, or even some changes we want in our lives, we have to realize that everything has its time, and it is only up to us to achieve the goal properly and healthily.

The models live on their bodies, because they are instruments of their work, where the clothes must have an impeccable fit, if they look pretty thin as they present themselves. Keep the slim weight can be a hard road and lead to serious complications, which will not promote well-being because unbalanced body is not healthy.

Healthy body and healthy mindThese are two aspects that we all have to watch out for, because nothing works well when we have not reached a process, where feeling good and being well are intimately intertwined. Being beautiful is first of all being able to look at yourself, love yourself, take care of yourself, and most importantly, respect yourself.
