The first step is to apply two layers of the chosen nail polish to the base on all nails. Wipe off excess with cotton, toothpick and acetone and allow to dry for approximately 40 minutes. This is an important step as the nail base has to be very dry before starting the decoration.

Once the nails are well dried, cut the tape to different widths and glue horizontally over the chosen single daughter nail. Use a toothpick to aid in securing the tape. Pay attention and check that the tape is well glued before starting the application with the second enamel color.

With the well-fixed tapes apply a layer of the darkest nail polish on the only child nail. This step has to be done carefully as the dark enamel cannot leak under the tape. We advise you to use a nail polish that has a good coverage, so only one layer is needed to cover the nail.

Before removing the masking tape, allow the nail polish to dry for approximately half an hour. Once dry, carefully remove the tape from the nail and wipe off any excess. To finish apply a layer of top coat to finish.
