Skin problems such as acne, pimples and excess oils are also characteristic of the problem. In addition, the woman may notice increased hair on the face, breasts and abdomen.

In addition to internal changes in body functioning and external changes that bother women, polycystic ovary syndrome can interfere with reproductive health. Since many women with this syndrome do not have regular ovulation, this causes many women to have difficulty getting pregnant and may increase the chances of miscarriages.
