Catio Vital is a new facial cleansing procedure that is becoming quite popular. It was originally developed in France by the Mary Cohr laboratory (which is a leader in sales of cosmetics and aesthetic treatments in Europe), famous for bringing science and aesthetics together since the 1970s.
The procedure
Allergy-proof (hypoallergenic), safe for all skin types, and yet capable of removing impurities from the deepest layers of the skin, the procedure uses different skin-specific products.

If your skin is oily or sensitive, the products used are different from those used in dry and more mature skin. The procedure helps to control skin greasiness by utilizing vitamin-rich principles: A (beta carotene) that has antioxidant properties; C (ascorbic acid) which helps collagen production and tissue repair and E (tocopherol) that prevents cell damage.
It also helps lighten blemishes, reduce wrinkles and moisturize the skin. All this in one procedure.
In addition to all these benefits, Catio Vital, due to its composition, helps in the healing of the epidermis. It may therefore be indicated in cases of acne-stained skin or other types of superficial bruising. It seems impossible, but no, it is scientific.
This is only possible through the anionic compounds (which are also used in creamy soaps and skin cleansing lotions) and cationic compounds (which are antimicrobials used in deodorants and some anti-dandruff shampoos and conditioners) present in the products used in the procedure. These compounds help soften and make your skin look youthful.
Basically, the procedure is done through negative-charge and positive-charge bioelectric stimulation that alter the skin for a more thorough and deep cleansing and increase hydration capacity.
How is Catio Vital made?
The whole process very much resembles a common skin cleansing. First, specific Catio Vital products are applied. After applying the products, is made a kind of? Facial sauna? to stimulate the effects. When removing the products is made a soothing mask and a massage with essential oils. A session is recommended per week for three or four weeks to have a significant result.
