A recent survey by the Daily Mail portal found that many women are not prepared to appear without makeup to their potential suitor, or even to their boyfriends, at the beginning of their relationship.
According to data collected from 2,000 women, they expect, on average, just over a month to let a new boyfriend see them without makeup. When going to their house for the first time, a third of respondents admitted to running to the bathroom to touch up the makeup before he woke up.
They also spend an average of 40 minutes getting ready for a date. Six out of 10 women want to make sure the man likes them well enough before revealing their natural faces. And a third of women think that if they are seen too early in a relationship without makeup, the man may lose interest in them.
This mindset seems to be very sad. When we are in a relationship, it is only worth it if we can feel free. The partner should respect and like the way they are, and if they are not satisfied, it is simply not worth it.
