How to lighten the groin and get rid of ingrown hairs in this region

This is a subject that bothers many women, but it is not discussed as openly as dry hair or brittle nails: it is the darkened groin.

As much as the groin spends most of the time hidden under our clothes, many women are embarrassed when wearing a bathing suit or even during sex because they have a groin darker than the rest of their body.

Another problem is when a woman tends to have ingrown hairs, leaving her skin full of red, sore, pus-filled lumps? the dreaded folliculitis.

Sometimes we are embarrassed to talk about it, but fortunately youtuber Adriana shared a homemade recipe from a groin-exfoliating scrub that helps lighten the area and prevent ingrown hairs.

According to Adriana, this mixture helps remove dead cells, facilitating skin regeneration and favoring treatments to lighten the groin, leaving the region with smooth, soft and hydrated skin.

How to make the recipe

As youtuber explains in the video above, you only need two ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon almond oil or extra virgin olive oil

Just mix the two ingredients in a container and take bath time to apply the mixture to the groin. Massage with gentle movements for 3 minutes to get the exfoliating effect.

A tip: do not overdo the strength when doing the massage to not end up irritating the skin of the region, as it is already quite sensitive. Make a normal exfoliation with gentle movements.

Repeat this procedure no more than twice a week as it has abrasive action and can end up hurting the skin if done excessively.

Also, always be careful to exfoliate at least 4 days after shaving so as not to cause any irritation to a skin that is already sensitized by the blade or wax.

Tricks to make your recipe even better

If your skin is oily, youtuber indicates replacing sugar for honey, which has anti-inflammatory, astringent and antimicrobial action, helping the skin to fight the emergence of very painful pimples in the groin.

If your skin is very sensitive, youtuber recommends that you exchange sugar for cornmeal, as the kernels are softer and will not hurt your skin.

If possible, use a vegetable bushing to cleanse this region of the body and rinse with cold water, which helps soothe the skin.

To prevent the appearance of stains and ingrown hairs, it is also important to avoid wearing too tight panties, as they end up irritating the groin and may even reduce blood flow in this region.

Lastly, remember to avoid the sun right after shaving as this may cause blemishes on skin that is already sensitized.
