Outdoor activities are important for children's development

What memories do you have for summer when he leaves? For me it's sun, beach, sea, Bahia, coconut water, outdoor activities and a lot of work too.

I think everyone has at least one good summer memory. Who doesn't have at least a photograph of a special day at the beach, or a family humming road catch, a picnic in the park, a waterfall bath?

I spent my summer vacation this year on the little land. How old was I not going to the beach, stepping on the sand, taking a sea bath? Neither do I know.

Even taking at least one vacation a year because of professional and student commitments always ended up mending work on the other and, in short, did not take vacation!

And just there, stepping on the sand, taking a bath in the sea, relaxing my body and mind, I realized how much such a break I was missing. In the madness of everyday life, involved with our daily issues, we often do not even realize.

There I also reflected on how much this kind of experience is increasingly rare for children in large cities.

In our society these little ones are practically born knowing how to handle and use cell phones, tablets and video games. And many spend most of their leisure time connected to these devices, having rare opportunities to play outside the stronghold of their homes.

The daily lives of most urban families are busy, and this is often used as an excuse for parents to spend the entire weekend indoors in front of the television, or surfing the Internet. However, children need, for their healthy physical, psychological and social development, outdoor activities.

Play ball, ride a bike, play on playground equipment? like seesaws, swings and slides? improve skills such as spatial orientation, attention, motor coordination and body flexibility.

Planting seedlings, seeing fish in lakes, harvesting fruit straight from the foot teach young people in practice values such as respect for nature, animals and the importance of environmental preservation for the common good.

Having contact with other children outside your school environment also has many benefits for the emotional and social development of little ones. Communication skills, verbal expression, resourcefulness and self-confidence are developed from the interpersonal relationships between children, in moments of playful play and games.

Kids have the energy to give and sell. So they often need activities like these at any time of the year. And a little a week already makes all the difference.

Building sandcastles, scooping seashells, playing in the water, riding bikes in green parks, making new friends - these are all very important not only for the development of the little ones, but also for having beautiful memories to keep. only in photo albums? or files on the computer? but in your memories like a happy childhood. Forever.
