Dangerous and painful surgery is the new sensation among South Korean women. The goal is to achieve a permanent smile and a more western face. The procedure involves realigning the upper and lower jaws to achieve a smoother silhouette.
The demand for this type of surgery has increased in recent times and it has been revealed that there is a clinic in South Korea that specializes in this type of procedure called "Lipt Smile" which can be done by lifting and curling the corners of the mouth as well as by manipulating the mouth support facial muscles.
Some people have flaccid corners of the mouth due to the low strength of the muscles that lift the edges of the mouth or excessively strong jaw muscles that pull the mouth down. In the clinic's video, the message says that even the average person (who doesn't have these sagging facial problems) has those who have the corners of their mouths drooping and compares the mouths of Western people with Korean ones. The procedure leaves some not very positive effects, such as scars.
